'To upset' someone or another team means 'to surprisingly/unexpectedly beat him/her/them'. It is a phrase that is pretty common in sports these days. However,when used in the passive voice it means 'to be surprisingly/unexpectedly beaten'. For example,in the world of tennis you could say: "Serena Williams (world number one) was upset by Kimiko Date-Krumm at the US Open." Today's photo shows another aerial view of Durham.
