I heard from my wife that Prince Charles,the British heir to the throne,is in Japan for the next few days.The Prince of Wales is here to celebrate the birthday of the Empress Michiko.I remember back in the 1980's he was considered a bit of a 'laughing stock'amid 'Dianamania'.However over the last 10 years or so his popularity has experienced something of a 'renaissance'.
