I heard this word again on Monday and it makes me laugh every time I hear it! When I was at Minami high school I was asked: "Would you like to eat some shoecream?"I said I would throw-up(be sick/vomit)if I did.(I was starting to think Japanese people were very strange!) I pointed out 'shoecream'was used for cleaning/polishing shoes in the UK! A 'cream puff'is the British 'equivalent'of 'shoecream'...
