Yesterday,when talking to a student of mine an interesting cultural difference 'came up'.In the UK,if two (female)friends met/got together and they were wearing the same (or very similar) clothes then one (or both)would probably go home and change into something different.Why?Because it would be very/highly embarrassing for 'those involved'.That doesn't seem to be the case in Japan,though...
