The three figures in my last post's photo are 3 of the most famous British football players ever. On the left is George Best (Northern Irish). He was,arguably,one of the most 'naturally gifted' players to ever 'lace up his boots'. He was also a 'sex symbol' and 'cultural icon' of the 1960's. In the center is Dennis Law,a 'fiery'Scotsman,and a 'deadly' centre forward. And on the right is Bobby Charlton,an Englishman from my part of the country-the north east. He was,and still is,a 'great ambassador'for the game of football.
