I saw in the news that a joint Chinese-Japanese acedemic team failed to make much 'headway'on this controversial subject. Outside of Japan what happened there in 1937 is referred to as the 'Nanjing massacre'. Japan,on the other hand describes it an 'incident'. One thing is certain-it is still a massive 'bone of contention'between the Asian neighbous. More tomorrow. Today's photo shows me being treated to dinner at 'Rakuen'by my wife.
