Davis Cameron, the UK's Prime Minister during referendum campaign immediately sought to try and shape his political legacy when he resigned after the vote. Many politicians of a Conservative persuasion listed many things they said he should be remembered for. That being said, perhaps a more accurate epitaph will be that he will only be remembered for one thing, and one thing only: he took a political gamble, rolled the dice, and lost. He will now simply be remembered as the man who took the UK out of the EU and also, possibly, it's 300-year union with Scotland.
